Charles Stutsman, 69, of Seattle, WA, passed away July 15, 2025, at Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, VA. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Valerie; brothers, Art. (Pam) and Arnold (Lisa); and sisters, Elizabeth. Stutsman, Esther Zimmerman and Virginia (Jim) Bennett. He is pre-deceased by his parents. Skip and Ruth Stutsman; along with his twin brother, Carl; And brother-in-law Fred Zimmerman.
Charles graduated from Edmonds High School (WA) and University of Idaho. He worked for, WAVY-10 for'31 years as a Broadcast Engineer, retiring in 2020, Interests included: travel, model railroading, radio frequency monitoring [Amateur Radio], gardening, involvement at First Baptist Norfolk and Gideons, Lifesavers Life Group and Tuesday morning men's prayer group. Charles' heart's desire is that you experience the joy of knowing Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.
Celebration of his life was Friday, August 22nd, [2025] at 11AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Visitation Thursday, August 21st from 5PM -7PM at Woodlawn. A special "thanks" to all the medical team for their expertise, love, and devotion to Charles, especially in his final days. A big hug to all who reach out to Valerie offering love, prayers, encouragement, and practical help.
